Need help rooting.

First off if this is the wrong place for this post or, there is already a post relative to this one, I apologize. I've been trying to root my droid pro fro sometime now but, I'm just confused. It was rooted once before however, I messed up the install tweaking things so I had to wipe and start from new. This was around the time verizon sent the update preventing users from rooting. Now, I understand that I have to flash to an earlier version save the root, update, then reapply it. This is where it gets confusing, I have no idea which version to flash to or anything beyond that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are my phones specs

DROID PRO
System Version:4.7.3.XT610.Verizon.en.US
Android Version:2.3.4
Baseband:N_01.83.00R
Build No:4.5.1-110-VNS-35

So, I was successfully able to root my Droid Pro.
