Need help rooting

in Canada on Fido using a Motorola RAZR HD running 4.1.1 need to know if there's a way to root my phone I found a video on YouTube showing a way to do it but not sure if it will work

check the replies on the thread i posted. you have to first go back to 4.0.4 then root.

I believe your device is an XT925 which very different from the XT926 that most everyone in this forum/section has. If you want to root your phone follow these instructions. Of course it is Your Phone therefore Your Responsibility, not mine, not DroidForums.net . Anyone that has a Razr HD/ Razr Maxx HD XT926 THIS WILL NOT WORK UNLESS, YOU HAVE AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER. I would suggest checking this thread over, rather than relying on what was found on YouTube, these are more creditable Developers when it comes rooting your device.
