How to tell if I can download "Free" apps on my Droid X ..

I recently trade for a rooted Droid X.. How would I tell if I can get apps for free? Its
Android Version 2.2.1
System version.2.3.340.MB810
Its has a program called Superuser also?
Not for sure of any other info I may need to give ?

If you are talking about getting paid apps for free you won't be able to discuss it here. You don't root to steal apps like jailbreaking iPhones.

Go into the Market, click on Applications, click on All, Click on Top Free. All the apps that show up there are "Free"!! :icon_ banana: Ain't life Grand??

There are many apps iin the Market that are free. Being rooted doesn't give you free apps that you would need to pay for. It gives you more control over your X.

There is a ton of information about rooting, right here in the stickies. Refer to that to learn about what being rooted means.
