Need help moving files

sorry if this has been talked about before but i am trying to move apps from my computer to my D2G. i dont know where to put them when i have my phone plugged into my computer, nor where to find them after i place them somewhere on my phone. any help would be great. on a side note my phone is not rooted if that makes a difference.

Is it just the .apk file? You should be able to just put it on your SD card and install. Make sure to go into your applications control panel and allow installs from outside the market.

yes they all are apk files. when i plug my phone into my computer it gives me a list of flies (that i guess are on my phone) but i dont see anything about my sd card. is there something i am missing?
