Hi, I can't cut or paste in the text program that came with my droid. Selecting text and scrolling are also very difficult. Is there a Better text program out there?
thanks!

just answered it! have fun with it! it may take a while to get used to using a touchscreen and where you need to press/figure out exactly where you are pressing
I appreciate your help. Im sorry that other person was rude.
Im still having several problems (although your advice helped on some).
If I turn the Droid X to landscape so I can text with both hands I cant see the text Im replying to and I cant edit the text I am typing (select, cut, paste, etc).
I can see the previous text and can edit when holding the phone in the normal mode.
yeh, if that's your beef with the stock texting program, then you could try to find another one. but you're right, you can't see the other texts in landscape mode. though, you can hit the back key to return to the message list, do what you need to there, then tap in the text editor field and return to your text editor.

Anyway, I've tried handcent and I am enjoying it for the most part. Sometimes it will duplicate incoming messages (never happens with stock texter), but this is seemingly rare.
