I have been using the Vlingo keyboard, but the latest update to the app disabled it. I have a few problems with the standard multi-touch keyboard that really irritate me.
1) Every word is underlined as a type it. Not a big deal function-wise, but I don't like seeing it.
2) Spelling suggestions when I touch a word to change it. There has literally never been a time that I have needed my phone to tell me how to spell something, and the bar popping up is just annoying.
3) When I put something in quotes, it moves the first quotation mark back a space. So for instance, the quotation mark is" here" instead of "here."
I have every option under "Multi-touch keyboard settings" unchecked. Does anyone know how to fix these problems, or know of a keyboard app that is similar to the standard keyboard but doesn't do these things? Thanks.
