i want to be able to delete some apps. i dragged them to the main screen and then to the trash can but i still see them. Please do a step by step for me. any tricks that you might think are helpful, i am willing to learn.

Menu button, Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, click on the app, click Uninstall.

If you're in te Market,you can serch for the app and uninstall there just like you installed it.
