Navigation crashes when I try to open it, and it's not in the store?

Hey so I tried using Navigation tonight to help me find a place, but every time I opened it, it would simply say "Searching for location" and decide to close after about 10 seconds.

I tried restarting and it did nothing. I ran Google Maps just to make sure it wasn't my GPS broken, and it instantly found my location. So then I think about un installing Navigation and reinstalling a new version, but it won't even show up in the store. What is going on with this?

Navigation is part of the Google Maps program, you wont find it as an individual item. Recommend uninstalling Google maps, then reinstalling Google maps. Is this issue a new development or has it been doing it a bunch?
