What sort of navbar mod are you attempting to do?

If it is just a theme, how are you going about doing it? Ziptheme, metamorph, or is it it's own pre-built update.zip?

How are you going about changing these buttons, metamorph, zipthemer, or something else? Maybe a link to the files you are trying to use?

you can use ninjamorph and a file explorer. i change out my icons on every ROM i flash and this works every time. i have been having issues with ninjamorph/metamorph/zipthemer ever since upgrading to 4.0.3.

but basically,
open Ninjamorph
start new project
system/app/systemui.apk
close NM
open a file explorer
copy all 10 images (make sure they have the same name as the original images)
past the images into sd card/androidthemes/workspace/systemuiapk/res/drawable-xhdpi
exit out of the file manager
open ninjamorph
go to existing projects
systemui
go to res/drawable-xhdpi folder
make sure the images are there
backup to the Ninjamorph home screen
choose finish project
choose systemuiapk
choose yes to overwrite
no to zipalign
yes to cleanup project
once finished, reboot and enjoy.

Please make a backup before doing this though, like i said, works every time for me, but i know exactly what i am doing and i know my files work.
