My wifes Droid Died

After 5 months of working perfectly, in fact faster than any I've seen - It would no longer go on.

Verizon confirmed it was dead... now we wait for a replacement.

FYI - they are out of stock for 100 miles here and I am near Miami...

What was the cause of Death?

It just would not turn on no matter what they did - it stopped charging - battery was fine, they tried replacements etc... Just stopped working.
