My thoughts on the bootloader lies from nenolad

I have been away from the forum for quite some time, no reason in particular and I come back on the day to read finally the keys to the X and a couple other phones were being released. Next day I read about some guy who "trolled" us all. The worst part this guy was proud of himself. And Koush was bragging about it on his twitter as well. Really??? I mean seriously guys are you like 10? I have a great amount of respect for dev's and the work they do for free or the little amount of donations they receive but the moment they start acting like their crap doesn't stink and they are somehow better than us because they are computer "nerds" I have a huge issue with that. How immature do you have to be to pull a stunt like this? I don't own an X or any of the other phones but this infuriates me to my very core. I don't care if people were "pestering" him, as he said, this is unacceptable. I know there is no way to do anything about this but I wanted to post this anyway. I don't even know if this guy has ever posted here but feel free to show him this if anyone is in touch with him. Anyways, mods do what you feel necessary with this post but I think it should remain open because this was a horrible thing for someone to do and I think people should be able to voice their frustrations about it so long as they remain somewhat civil. Although this guy doesn't deserve anything civil at the moment.

Well in a positive light it flushed out most of the Tbolt threads that have been flooding my top-20-unread since it released. But alas it is now back to normal. I fully agree that, a troll attempt or not, it was pretty bad for Nenolod to just go along with it, even going so far as to fake being sent a C&D from Moto.

yeah he did, but he also posted how awesome it was nenolod trolled everyone and how he should take hints into how to troll. Just thought it was a disrespectful thing to say. I don't put Koush in the same boat at all as nenolod, not that it matters anymore though. I am totally over it now just at the time it really annoyed me that someone would stoop to that level.

Yeah nenolad is a jerk for derping people but they shouldn't be so gullible. With koush though, he's the first person people go to when someone says they've cracked it & he's probably tired of saying IT WILL NEVER BE CRACKED over & over.

PC since I am the OP if you feel you need to close it now ahead of time that's fine. I posted this the day we found out it was a hoax so I was just ticked at the time. I honestly have no feelings over the issue now so this thread doesn't need to stay open. I think Jax already has a thread saying it was a hoax anyways.

I agree....others may need to vent a little...as long as it doesn't go too far this is fine. I feel for the DX/D2/D2G crowd on this one.

This was really upsetting to the whole D2/DX/D2G community.
And I agree that it was very immature for someone to stoop that low for mere fun and games. Now we know not to listen to him and maybe the 1000+ posts bashing him on twitter will show him how many people he let down.
