My phone went nuts...

I was navigating to a restaurant my phone went nuts - it kept restarting with the Droid logo and stuff over and over and over. I finally pulled the battery.

When I finally got it to boot back up, all my contacts are gone, my bookmarks, etc. My apps are still there, but I had to login to facebook again and all that.

Anyone know what made this happen or if I can get my contacts back? Settings?

Anyone else had this happen?

You mean just the Gmail app? It still works fine--I didn't have to log back in at all. My Exchange email is still setup too. It seems like I just deleted all settings and almost all my contacts. It randomly still shows like 5 people in the People app. Weird.

So on my computer, I went onto gmail and had to move all the contacts I wanted into the "Starred for Android" Group. Never even heard of that. But it only pulls in email addresses, and apparently it never saved the phone numbers from where my old Contact list was saved on my Dinc. Dang!
