My Galaxy s4 stop working completlely (black screen)

has anyone have this problem with a Samsung Galaxy s4, yesterday after an upgrade my cell performed from my pc, it worked well till this morning, it suddenly went off, and I can't even reset it.

any advice?

If you plug in the charger does it indicate that it's being charged?

How are you trying to reset it? Soft reset (reboot), battery pull, or data reset (hard reset)?

I thought I was the only one. Mine has started doing that as well!! It's very frustrating. In order to get it out of whatever mode this is, I have to remove the battery to reset it. During this time, no phone calls come through at all. It will ring once on the caller's end, then nothing. No voice mail, no more rings, nothing. It's pretty much a daily occurrence.

ETA: Mine started doing it after an upgrade - maybe an AT&T upgrade? Not sure now.
