S4 Mini Screen Rotation stops

My wife got an S4 Mini and the screen rotation stops randomly. Has anyone encountered this and solved it? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried battery pull? Screen rotation option should be in the pull down notification bar, is that turned off by any chance?

I have done a reboot, but not a straight battery pull. I will try it.

Beside this recommended fix, has anyone encountered this before and found a solution?

The "random" part is the tough nut. If it just won't do it every now and then you may have some messed up cache as well. Possibly even a running background app getting in the way.

Are you by any chances using any task killers?
