my droids mic is broken!!! PLEASE HELP ME ?

The mic is totally shot. People cant hear me on the other end unlsss on speaker. Cant voice text...

Did you happen to put a screen protector on that covered the mic hole? Probably not, but I did that once.

But they can hear you when you have your phone on speaker? How do they hear you then? Not sure its the MIC...

Have you rooted at all? Custom ROM?

Have you tried rebooting?

Please fill us in with anything you have already done to remedy your issue, also, do you have any apps that affect the sound on your phone like Volume+ apps or equalizer apps etc....

Need more info...
