Razr MAXX mic issue

Having an issue with the phone's Mic. It works with a bluetooth headset, it works in speaker mode.

The issue seems to be when I put the phone to my ear the mic does not work people on the other end
cannot hear me. If I take it away from my ear and hold the phone horizontal almost and talk into the
mic it works.

The issue seems to be when I put it to my ear the mic doesn't work??

That is certainly an odd issue you have. It may be a hardware issue, have you tried taking it to Verizon to have it exchanged?
