My droid's acting up

Hey i got my droid for christmas and its been fine up until today. Today the response has been very laggy and constantly my droid will stop whats its doing and pretty much restart itself. anyone kno how to fix it?

I would try a battery pull. Allow the capacitors to discharge about 1 minute then put battery back in. If that doesn't work, time to visit the Verizon store.

I'd suggest removing the last few apps you added, then rebooting. If that does not clear it, then remove all apps you've added, reboot, and see. If it still does it, ensure you save critical files then do a factory reset (under settings).

I believe it is very rare to get a bad phone. More likely is a misbehaving app. I base this on the number of folks who were ready to get their phones replaced, but tried clearing apps and/or resetting - finding that their phone is fine. Then add apps back slowly to see who the culprit is.
