My bionic will not vibrate on any settings!!!!!

MY BIONIC WILL NOT VIBRATE WHEN I RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES!!!!.... ROOTED... BOOTSTRAP RECOVERY.... THEROY TOM...... ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Is it checked? Open text messaging app, hit menu, go to settings or preferences and ensure under notifications that its checked.

YES ITS CHECKED IN SETTINGS UNDER SOUNDS AND IN ANY OF THE MESSAGING APPS THAT I TRY

Have your tried rebooting it? If so try another messaging app from the market? If you've done that then try going to /settings/apps/manage apps/all tab/choose messaging app/force stop/clear cache (if you can) and clear data. Be sure to back up your texts first in case they get deleted. Use SMS backup and restore from market or if there's a backup feature built into the app.

There is no option for clear the data or the cache...it's greed out.

Hmm and this is the stock messaging app correct? That's odd. Try downloading GO SMS and try that. Did you freeze the stock messaging app with titanium backup maybe?

Hmm that's odd. I know from time to time my vibration will stop and then start on its own. Guess it could be a rom issue.

THE APP IS CALLED SOUND MANAGER.....FOUND IT ON ANOTHER THREAD BY TYPING "TEXT NO VIBRATE".....THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP
