My Bionic Has DIED

I posted this on the tech thread but didn't get much feedback. I have an update, and any response is greatly appreciated. Please help, if you can:

I bought the Bionic the day that it came out and it has been great. But this evening I was playing "Hanging with Friends" and the screen went blank then went to the black screen with the "Dual Core Technology" logo. Now I can't get it to turn back on... The most I can get it to do is just go to the "Dual Core" logo, but the last several times I have tried it has done nothing.

Here is what I have tried:

-Taking battery out, putting it back in. (Several times.)
-Plugging it up for a while.
-Leaving battery out for a while, then putting it back in.
-Hard reset (by taking battery out, pressing and holding power button, then putting battery back in).
-I have an extended battery, but I tried putting the original battery in. (Just in case it was a battery issue and not the phone.)

None of that worked!! Please help! I can't go without my phone!! I plan on taking it to the Verizon store ASAP, but I thought I would poll the guru's just in case. Any ideas??

taking it in will be a waste of time, just call *611 and they will get a replacement ordered for you.
make sure to ask them if they'll ship it overnight for free.. most CSR's will waive the overnight fee. some wont though.

*611 will probly only work if you have another Verizon phone to dial it from.

Have you tried booting into stock recovery by turning it on while holding the Power button and the Volumes Up 'and' Down simultaneously? this would get you into the boot menu, from which you'd press the volume up button to get into stock recovery ...well volume down to scroll and volume up to select recovery iir

I tried it, but it wouldn't boot on... Thanks anyway though.

well then replace it ...probably would feel better to get a brand new one...good luck\

I'm having same problem. At this point, when the Razr come out, I will have 2 days to spare to exchange my phone without penalties. That's 2 weeks away. Luckily I have my D2 that I just went back to until I fix or exchange my Bionic. IF I find a way to charge / exchange the battery, I'll try to fix the phone. I've even considered finding a way to "hot wire" the battery to charge. Any thoughts or where I can find to do that?
Love the Bionic up to this point. :rating08:
