My auto rotate function does not work after gb update.

Don't know how or why but right after the 7/28/11 update, my dinc2's auto-rotate capabilities became compromised. Now if I rotate the phone from horizontal to vertical, it stays in vertical mode even if I tap it or shake it. I have to press the off button, and then press it on a couple of times for phone to auto rotate back to horizontal. And, I have ensured that the auto rotate settings are on. Any ideas anyone?

auto rotate settings---Why plural, just a typo or do you have more than one ?

Maybe the ota broke the accelorometer software. I would try a factory reset.
