Music stops when email syncs

Everytime my email syncs with the Droid the music shuts off (it doesn't matter whether its the radio or downloaded music). This is making using the Droid as my music player very frustrating. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Try turning off email notifications, mine used to make the music stutter.
