Music sound like alvan and the chipmunks.

I don't know what happen. But now some of my songs sound faster and high pitched. It wasn't like this before. Just started. Also I notice that the song time in menu mode display some of my songs as 30 minutes long but play as 3 minutes like they suppose, but with Alvin sound

In general when this happens the sampling rate of the audio file is not in agreement with what the device is trying to play.

For example if the sampling rate is around 11,000 samples per second, and the device is expecting 44,000 samples per second, it will convert it to 44,000 by "squishing" it. Thus you get the alvin and the chipmunk problem.

I am a newbie(first post here) so I am not sure if there is a way to address this in the phone, but you could always use free software to convert the sampling rate if this is indeed the problem.

You can check the sampling rate on a computer just by looking at the properties.
