Multiple texts

Lately my wife and I have noticed the same text coming in 3, 4, 5 times or more. Its only between us, on both phones, haven't noticed it with anybody else. ......What's that all about?

What is the text and who/where is it coming from?

Just any text. Usually between my wife and I these days. I've seen it before with others but not lately. Not advertisements or something odd like that.

So the same text your wife sent (or vice versa) keeps getting sent multiple times. Or is it a text from someone else that keeps getting sent multiple times. Have you tried rebooting your phone? Also, you can try going into settings> apps> all apps...text messaging (or whatever app you use for texting) and clear cache and clear data.

Its sending and receiving. Not just with my wife, I just notice it more because I rarely text with anyone else. Just saw score updates from espn that came in 3 times.
