multiple gmail accounts - how to accesss

I initially configured my DX with my main gmail account, and all was/is well. On my DX I then activitated my second existing gmail account and although I can hear it signal incoming emails into that account I can't figure out how to 'see' that inbox. Help!

These are both in the Gmail App...Correct?

If so, Open the app, at the inbox hit menu, Accounts, then select the one you want.

Not sure if this helps but on the gmail.com side of things I've got my main mailbox configured to fetch mail for 6 other accounts, a few of which are gmail accts themselves. All mail goes to the single mailbox on the web, and on the phone. I seldom reply back from the phone. I know on the web I can reply back with any of my email addresses I want to, with the current default being it replies back with the address to which it was sent.

But on the phone can I have multiple gmail inboxes open at the same time?

I don't want to have to exit one and then climb up and down a menu tree to see the other one.
