Moving Apps to sd card loses widget?

So I tried moving and few Apps to the sd card today and some of the app's that have a widget I used disappeared or stopped working. Can you not use a widget with the app on a card or am I missing something. It's not a big deal just wondering.

No.. any app that uses a widget has to stay installed on the phone. Moving it to the sd, you will loose the widget.

Can the widget be removed and reinstalled? I don't have any apps on the sd card that uses widgets, but was curious.

Nope you certainly cannot. If an app has a widget it has to stay on the phone and not the sd.

Ok, well thats annoying but not the end of the world. I just wanted to know.
