Moved to FL, now having text/call issues

I bought a new HTC Incredible last week while I was visiting my family in NH. Loved it, had no issues/problems at all. Flew back home to West Palm Beach, FL yesterday. I received texts/calls last night, but all day today I have not been receiving texts that have been sent or calls that have been made.

The bars on my phone in FL are low or nonexistent, but I've read in the forums that this isn't usually a problem if the dBm is in the right area- Mine fluctuates between -93 and -101 dBm.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions anyone has or ways to fix this. Please be gentle with the high-tech lingo... I'm new to the smart phone club

try to do a *228 (option 2) and update the prl (if not done so already). I am in SFL and have no problems. Currently I am on 52189. Maybe that will help.

Thank you for responding so fast! I called just now and successfully updated the prl. Hopefully that will do the trick or Verizon was just having a bad day.
