Motorola Droid with 2.3?

I think people has asked this but do Motorola Droid's get 2.3? Do we get it at the end of 2011 or 2012?

Its not been officially announced one way or the other, including any sort of timeline. However, ROMs are being worked on currently.

No one really knows when the next update is coming.

I would imagine the Droid 1 would get it and it's usually one of the first devices to get the newest update since it's so similar to the Nexus One.

yeah i hope we do...we dont get it first because what i heard from rumors is that gingerbread is mostly for some phones with processors that r 1ghz or more...weird but i just hope Droids do...itll b nice

That rumor has proven to be false. I'm already running a rom that is 2.3.

Nobody knows if, or when, the Droid will officially get 2.3. There are 2.3 ROMs coming though.
