This weekend i had plugged my Droid into my computer to charge over night, It had about 1/2 the battery power left... In the AM the phone was completely dead, No signs of life nothing! Battery was dead with no voltage and after replacing it with a known good battery still nothing

Verizon is taking care of me and sending out a new phone.

Has this happened to anyone one else?

I've heard of a few others with very similar stories, most of them didn't have completely dead droids after they installed the new batteries.

Sometimes bad things happen to good phones. Sorry that happened to you, glad they are shipping you out a replacement.
