Motorola Droid Clean Install?

When you get a new computer from a manufacture, like Dell or HP, it has all this bloatware on the computer so you format the computer and get it all off and left with just Windows. Is there a way to do this with Android, like the Motorola Droid? How would we install Android and only Android, a clean install without the bloatware? Is there a way to do this with the SDK?
