I don't really get the obsession with 5 screens. Does no one else use folders to organize apps? Or are you guys filling up all that space with widgets? If so, I'm curious if you notice any performance hits because of it.
LOL!.. don't you hate to be late for dinner? :icon_ banana:
I have 7 screens with GDE in cube mode... full of shortcuts and a handful of widgets scattered throughout "widgets use more ram than mere shortcuts" and I don't have any performance issues... running stock 2.0.1 for now.
don't use folders as I like to see everything at a glance... may install some app docks later if I must.

Wow, I only fill the 3 stock screens and one is just a full screen calendar. So basically I use only 2. I have everything I need...clock/date/weather, common app shortcuts, battery left, speed dials, power control, and vibration toggle. Simple is nice.

Been using Home++ for a few days, increased the amount of widgets I use, and have not noticed a difference in performance... Is that normal. (unrooted).
i have been getting a ton of force closes with home++ lately and it sems like the dev has stopped with updates too looks like he got his donations and bailed lol
