I hope someone posts the manual version of this pre-2.1 patch because I'm rooted (JUST rooted, stock OS still) and did the manual 2.0.1 update so I don't know if I'll receive the notification for the patch and then for 2.1.

I came from BB... we Storm-ees had 5.0.... let me tell you, you aren't missing anything. 5.0 was an epic fail.

All I remember is being excited for threaded messaging but it was halfass and scrolled like crap and was very awkward. Then I found the tabs in the browser which were a pain but better than none. Then it updated and got rid of the tabs and KINDA fixed messaging. Overall horrible lol

It's not a secret . I did get the update today, but my GF didn't. I know it's total random since we sleep in the same bad :icon_ devil:. I have nothing more to off unless you didn't read this thread. As the day progresses I will see if there is more information for me/us. Have a nice day

Nevermind, after reading his post again he just got the "system update" which is like a maintenance patch to 2.0.1, not 2.1

I think he's referring to the maintenance update...if he had gotten 2.1, he would have specified, I should think.

I haven't gotten the update everyone is talking about. I am still at build ESD56, the same that I was at when I got my Droid on 12/22. I'll just wait and see.

You are right. It was the maintanance update. Only on e one phone. I do not have 2.1 yet either but I would like it too
