Motorola Droid 2.1 Update OTA Did Not Work!?

I got the notification for the update being available, but when I pressed install now, nothing happened. I pressed it again and again, and nothing happened. So then I pressed install later, and now it is over a day later, and I still can't install the update. Even when i go to settings--->about phone---->system updates, it says I am up to date, but I am not. Now what?

P.S. I do not want to do it manually unless I absolutely have to.

I am running 2.0.1 - I am not rooted, and the OTA update didn't work...

well if you cant get it when you click system updates you might have to do it the manual way..

A lot of people have had problems with that though, I don't want to mess my phone up.
