Motorola Android 2.2 Update Suspended

I manually updated and I have not seen any issues**crossing my fingers**. When the bugs are worked out, will we just get a notification that there is a new update available?

Yes, it will be an OTA. Probably the same thing will happen somebody will post up the file for early download.

It'd be nice if whoever released it would say what the issue(s) are.

It could be a number of minor things. I'm running FRG22 now, which is probably what they will release next. Unless there is something wrong with this one. I haven't seen any issues.

Battery drain, excessive heat, and trouble making phone calls! That's some of what I heard...yes, we make calls on this thing too!

Quite honestly I don't know what they found wrong with it. We were running this build for a couple of weeks and I didn't have any issues. Of course it may have been something that I don't use much like the camera.

No reason to panic. I'm pretty sure Miami didn't mean it in that way.

Every indication is that if you have the download installed, you will be fine until the new update comes out.

Wow feel bad for all those people that unrooted to get the 2.2 update!!! I did that for the official 2.1 update from VZW and I learned my lesson I will not unroot again for an "official" update!! It's never worth it


On the other hand FGR22 has been running great on my phone!!
