Motorola has just pushed an update to the Camera app for the Moto X via the Play Store instead of the usual OTA route. This is pretty awesome, especially for Verizon users. Matt over at the Motorola forums hinted that more of their devices will be able to take advantage of this in the near future as well - likely referring to the newest Droids. They did this with their Touchless Controls app as well. I like this trend, because it obviously avoids carrier red-tape for updates!
