Hi, I have a Moto G Power and in the phone app the dialer icon has stopped appearing. When I open the phone app it opens to my contact list. At the bottom of that screen in a row are Favorites, Recents, and Contacts. Above this line there is a blue icon for adding a contact. No dialer icon. Any thoughts or ideas about how to get the dialer to display would be appreciated.

When you view the tabs across the bottom of the Phone app do you not see the multiple dot icon in the lower right hand corner? And then when you tap that icon the manual dialer opens? That's how every recent Moto phone I have owned functioned.
