Moto Droid (original) gives low battery noise and shuts down randomly..

... but when I turn it back on, the battery shows full charge. This has happened three times now; twice within a minute of removing the charging cable, and once after quitting Pandora and removing the headphone cable.

The battery isn't actually fully discharged, but the phone certainly thinks it is.

I'm running Bugless Beast 0.6.2.1.

I'm getting a new phone next week, but I would like to give this phone to friend after that.

Look in the Hacks section for how to wipe Battery Statistics. Maybe that will help.

Might be a bad battery.
