I have a Motorola Droid X and would like help setting up my school email. Email address is [email protected], i dont know if its IMAP/ POP/ Exhange server, also what do i put for port # and server name?

^ Google is your friend. I've lost track of the number of threads like this that I've answered with a quick Google search. A lot of universities have online resources with the necessary settings info specific to them. Even if the info is written for certain email clients the email settings are the email settings.

I know this is an old forum, but as the only one that comes up in a google search I thought I should enter the server information here since I just spent an hour trying to get MSU email to work on my Droid..
Incoming server settings:
Username: (your NetID)
Password: (your password)
IMAP server: mail.montclair.edu
Port: 993
Security Type: SSL (Accept all certificates)
Outgoing server settings:
SMTP server: smtp.montclair.edu
Port: 587
Security type: TLS
(check mark) Require sign in
Username: (your NetID)
Password: (your password)
I hope this saves someone a little time..

Just did this for ICS with Razr Maxx, however I choose STARTTLS instead of TLS straight-up, all other information was the same.
