MMS Ringtones Issues

Hello everyone.

It seems as though the droid has a problem sending a full size ringtones through MMS. Most of the ringtones that I have are all 25-30 seconds and are 350-450k in size. Everytime i try to attach one to a MMS, it says the file size has been exceded. I'm using handscentsms but it won't do it as well. I know that I could email the ringtones, but a lot of friends don't have smart phones, so email capabilites there. Is there a workaround for this. Am I missing something? Thanks.

It seems that the limit on attached files on a text is 300kb, I have sent ringtones that were 300kb, and a ringtone that was 305kb failed. I don't know if this is a limit with Verizon, Handcent sms or the Droid.

is thier away to fix the limit issue i recived a ringtone and saved it to the sd card i went to send it to a freind and it said message size limit reached I was able to recive but not send I ended up sending it as a forward but would like to be able to delete original text?
