MMS quick question...

When I receive an MMS message, i get 2 options 1) download 2)cancel...when I press download, it downloads and opens the pic. My question is, does "downloading" it, save it? And if so, where are they being "downloaded" to because they're not in my photo library anywhere.

I believe it is just a temporary download so you can see the pic and all that.
