Mms multiple pics plays as slideshow. Why?

Whenever I send multiple pictures via mms it shows as a slideshow. Is there a way to disable this?

Noticed the same thing. if you go to the gallery and copy the pic and then paste it in the MMS it goes throughas a pic...
