By dialing *#*#4636#*#* opens a testing menu. Apparently it contains all the addressing information and stuff for the "cloud"?

Hope this could be of some use. Maybe to retrieve an OTA or something to help obtain root?

At face im gonna guess no, the post ties overall to project cheesecake and that need clockworkmod to get going, and from what I see a lot of their success has been on 2.2.3 not 2.2.4 (I hate three number chains )

But im still relatively new so don't take my word too much
