MicroSD Card will not format

I've been having problems with my music on my droid, when I delete it off of the music folder the space it was taking up is still used. I went to format the memory card since I can't figure out anywhere it would be located other than the music folder I put it in. But the "Format SD card" is dimmed out..

Any suggestions?

You have to "unmount" the sd card before you can format it.

Thanks, I'll try putting the music back on now. Hopefully they will come out with a file manager for Mac's soon.
