Just curious, a friend of mine who is grandfathered into the unlimited data plan on at&t is considering the infuse, which includes such adapter. Does/Has anyone use(d) one of these and know if the quality is any different?

Thanks!

Are you talking about an mhl cable?

And how is his data plan relevant?

Well first of all I am not that familiar with the infuse. All's I know is that it comes with an HDMI adapter, I was assuming it was micro usb.

As for data plans, if she switches to a new network she will lose unlimited data on at&t ... but she wants an HDMI output on the phone.

Mhl uses the micro-usb form factor, but adds video out as well. The infuse does support this. She would just need to get the necessary adapter.
