Messenger compatible with BB and DInc

My hubby has a BB. I have the DInc. I used to have a BB. So we used the BB Messenger alot to save on texts (yes we have limited texts so we can afford two smart phones). What's a messenger app that we both can use? It has to be something that he can download on his phone too.

Google talk. It should be on your phone a d he can get an app for it or log into google on line and chat that way.

Thanks Hook. I did see that last night and asked him if he had a gmail. He said he can't remember his password. We'll try to figure it out. Or just create another gmail for him. Thanks again!

I wish there was a messenger with the same functionality as the BB messenger....none of them seem to be as good
