Media Player for .mov?

I searched for the forum, market, and Google with no luck.

Does anybody know a media player app(preferably free) that can play .mov files?


Had one more question to that's a little bit of a different subject but if you can answer this one would be great. I noticed that if I don't have Google Talk application running, and someone wants to chat, they send me an invite or something and it gets pushed to my phone. I really don't mind this as it would be nice to use it as an alternative means for texting, but does it charge SMS by chance? Or is it all data as I suspect? I was just curious because it gets pushed, or so it seems.

I did a search for "Android 7" in the Market and I received 554 results...

.mov files will NOT play on the DROID, but both .mp4 and 3gp will. What I did was download a free converter program called HANDBRAKE. It worked beautifully and easily to convert several .mov files to .mp4 format. From the Motorola forum, here are the best settings to use with HANDBRAKE:

Container = .MP4
Encoder = MPEG4(DivX)
Frame rate = 24
Resolution = 320 x 480
Video bitrate = 512
Audio encoder = AAC
Audio bitrate = 128
Sample rate = 44100
