Media File Types?? Which ones work on the Moto Droid with 2.1?

OK...let me take this approach...since I cant get iTunes media to work on my droid....what types of media files work on the droid that is still running 2.1?....This way I may be able to convert my media from the neo-nazi itunes format to something that is usable on other devices....
