Maxx HD from Verizon on AT&T's network?

I just bought a Maxx HD for my Verizon account. Lovelovelove the phone. Now I'm being offered a new job with a company that uses AT&T. I'm told that I should be able to get a SIM card compatible with an iPhone 4 or 5 & the Maxx HD will work on AT&T's system.

Anyone done it?
