Market movie rentals. Bypass?

I tried jumping on the .99 rental special today, but after purchasing it said
"Rentals are not available on your device because it appears to be rooted".

Does anyone know of a bypass for this?

It says I can still watch on my computer, but that's lame.

FYI- I used Pete's one click to root and running stock .886

I don't know for sure but I remember reading somewhere that there is a hacked version out there somewhere that will support movie rentals.

There is a hacked Videos apk. I have it, so if you PM me with your email, I can send it to you. It bypasses the "look for root" function.
