Maps upside down

As with all google apps I read solutions to things and links either don't exist or don't work. I followed one suggestion to click on the compass on the map. When I did that it disappeared. There should b e a very simple solution to flip north and south.

What's the make/model of your device? Sounds like you need to recalibrate your gyroscope. However some newer models don't allow this option, so it depends on what device you have.

Click on this button. (This is assuming you have the newest version of maps. Providing phone and android version will get you better/more responses.)
