Maps not recognizing contacts address

When using the GPS, and inputting a contact's address into Maps ("directions," then choosing "contacts" for the "end point"), sometimes after I choose the contact, the "end point" screen remains blank. If I repeat the process several times, it usually works. Any ideas about what's going on?

This happened to me today.

I tried to use my own contact address twice, and each time it failed. The third time I noticed that the addresses in the contact were being listed twice. I scrolled down to the second appearance and choose it. That time it worked.

Why it is happening? I have no idea.

Scratch that. Just tried it again, and though it still lists each address twice it does't matter which I choose. Fortunately that's because it's working.

The only difference is that the phone was in the Car Dock earlier. I'll have to test it again tomorrow and see if that makes a difference.
